Crowdcasting Inc. — the alternative to broadcasting

Privacy Policy

What we collect, why, and what you can make us do about it.

This Privacy Policy explains how Crowdcasting Inc., a California corporation ("Crowdcasting," "we," "us" or "our") collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information through crowdcastinginc.com and related services (the "Site").

Effective July 16, 2026  ·  Last updated July 16, 2026

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit an application or contact form, we collect what you enter. Depending on the form, that may include your name, email address, telephone number, company legal name and DBA, website or social handle, industry, years in business, revenue range, gross margin range, customer lifetime value, customer-acquisition practices, operational capacity, campaign objectives, and anything else you type into a message field.

Business and financial information. Our business application deliberately asks about revenue, margin and operational readiness. We ask because a performance-based campaign only works if it can be fulfilled and paid on. This information is treated as confidential and is used to evaluate fit — not sold, and not shared with other applicants.

Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard server and request data, which may include IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages viewed and timestamps. This is used for security, abuse prevention and aggregate traffic measurement.

Fonts. The Site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser therefore makes a request to Google, which receives your IP address as part of that request. We do not control Google's handling of that request.

Cookies. The Site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics in the future, this policy will be updated before it goes live.

2. How we use information

3. How we share information

Service providers. We use vendors that process information on our behalf, including our website host and form processor (Netlify) and our email provider. They are permitted to use the information only to perform services for us.

Clients and partners. If you participate in a campaign, information necessary to run and verify that campaign may be shared between Crowdcasting, the client and participating partners, as described in the applicable campaign agreement.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information where required by law, subpoena or other legal process, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, property or safety.

Business transfers. Information may be transferred in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law.

4. Retention

We keep application and campaign information for as long as needed for the purposes described above, and afterward as required for tax, accounting, recordkeeping and legal obligations. Where information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.

5. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the size of our operation, including encrypted transmission of form submissions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, gives you the following rights with respect to personal information we hold about you:

To exercise a right, email rcarrel@crowdcastinginc.com with the request and enough information for us to verify who you are. We will respond within the timeframes the statute requires. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written proof of authorization.

Shine the Light. California Civil Code § 1798.83 permits California residents to request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not make such disclosures.

7. Do Not Track

The Site does not respond to Do Not Track browser signals, because it does not track users across third-party sites in the first place.

8. Children

The Site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has provided us information, email us and we will delete it.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change, and material changes will be reflected on this page. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
